基本科学指标数据库（Essential Science Indicators，简称ESI）于2017年5月12日发布了更新数据，本期ESI数据时间跨度为2007年2017年1月。本次统计厦门大学共有297篇学术论文入选ESI全球前1%高被引论文，其中生物质化学转化实验室贡献了3篇，分别是：
